Practice History
Charles Burnell has been practicing Classical Five-Element Acupuncture since 1992 when he opened practices in Boulder and Fort Collins, Colorado. Prior to being an acupuncturist he worked in the field of finance and accounting. Several inspirations led to his decision to change careers. One, of course, was Suzanne’s Acupuncture practice. The profound effect this medicine had on her patient’s lives was very impressive. Charles also had experience working with the the Five-Element protocol at Maitri Center for Buddhist and Western Psychology in the 1970′s. The power of five-element healing experiences there contributed to his interest in exploring this medicine further.
Since leaving Colorado, Charles has had practices in Charlottesville, Virginia and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He currently sees patients at his office in Haile Village, Gainesville, Florida.
